The front yard was completed using premium BWS interlock pavers in Colorado color enhanced with elegant interior black borders, creating a clean and sophisticated curb appeal that perfectly complements the home’s exterior. The front area was excavated to approximately 12 inches deep to provide a strong and stable foundation capable of supporting vehicle parking and long-term interlock driveway performance. The backyard patio was installed using high-quality Techo-Bloc Eva pavers in Shale Grey, delivering a stylish and contemporary outdoor entertainment area. This interlock project was completed using the highest installation standards and premium-quality materials to ensure long-term durability, proper drainage, and resistance to frost movement. The backyard area was excavated to approximately 10 inches, and both front and backyard areas were lined with woven geotextile fabric to help separate the soil from the stone foundation while reducing the risk of weed growth through the interlock surface over time. The foundation was then built using 3/4” clear stone to provide superior drainage and minimize water accumulation beneath the surface. In addition, an HPB High Performance Bedding layer was installed to improve stability and help minimize frost heaving during Ottawa winters.
